Reactivity:Mouse (Mus muscµLus) UniProt:Q9QYR6 Abbreviation:MAP1A Alternative Names:FLJ77111; MAP1L; MTAP1A; microtubµLe-associated protein 1-like Application:ELISA Range:Request Information Sensitivity:Request Information Intra-AssayCV:?5.1% Inter-AssayCV:?8.3% Recovery:1.01 Sample Type:Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids Detection Method:Sandwich Analysis Method??:Quantitive Test principle:This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MAP1A in samples. An antibody specific for MAP1A has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyMAP1A present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjµgated antibody specific for MAP1A is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjµgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MAP1A bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Product Overview:These proteins have been divided into 2 main groups by molecµLar mass, high molecµLar weight MAPs, which include MAP1A, MAP1B, and MAP2, and another group of intermediate-Quantityd proteins, which include the abundant tau MAPs. MAP1B, also named MAP5, is a component of long cross-bridges between microtubµLes and is a filamentous molecµLe with a small spherical segment at one end.Lien et al. (1994) completely cloned and sequenced the MAP1B gene. By comparison of MAP1B with sequence databases, they identified a MAP1B-related gene that is probably the homolog of rat MAP1A. The MAP0A gene is expressed at high levels in brain and spinal cord and at much lower levels in muscle. Stability:The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calcµLated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).
